How often do we pick up the phone to check on one another? How often do we knock on a neighbor’s door or give someone we love a hug, just to say, “I’m here”? Instead, we scroll through our phones, see a post, and assume, “Oh, they’re fine…” and move on. But are we really connecting?

I had a vision—one of bringing my friends together to celebrate life, the wins, the milestones, and even the struggles. Life is too precious to live in isolation. Everyone needs a community. In our darkest times, moments of struggle, or even when we just need to feel loved, who do we call? Who shows up? It’s time to bring back the village—or, better yet, create a new version of it.

While we can’t rewind time, we can rewrite our stories. Let’s intentionally build a community rooted in love, support, and belonging. 2025 is the year. This is the year to bring joy back into our hearts and start moving with purpose.
